BAV
BAV has extensive experience in environmentally oriented waste management and inter-municipal cooperation, as the local operator of the Leppe waste disposal centre covering 3,166 Km2 and comprising 41 cities and municipalities.
Within the project initiative entitled :metabolon, BAV is dedicated to the development of a sustainable industrial estate dedicated to companies in the fields of waste management, material conversion und environmental technologies. The competence centre acts also as the critical networking hub for regional use of renewable energies on behalf of the land of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The Green Energy Romanian Innovative Biomass Cluster – Cluster Inovativ al Biomasei Green Energy din Romania, was developed from the Association for Green Energy by engaging research and development stakeholders, public institutions, local actors on biomass issues and moving from a regional (county) level to national level. The Cluster counts 38 members, including producers, entrepreneurs, representatives of local public administration, and consultants.

The Electricity Transmission System Operator is a public company that has the exclusive right to perform the public service of the transmission network system operator in Slovenia. ELES‘s experts deal with issues related to power-lines, including design and construction of transmission lines, substations and transformer facilities, as well as control centres.

KIC InnoEnergy SE is a world class alliance of top European players fostering the integration of education, technology, business and entrepreneurship and strengthening the culture of innovation. The consortium consists of 27 shareholders and additional 100+ partners: companies, research institutes, universities and business schools covering the whole energy mix.
The core competencies of KIC InnoEnergy include energy storage, renewable energies, energy efficiency. KIC offers seven Master programmes in sustainable energy, that combine technical training with essential skills in entrepreneurship thanks to a close involvement of leading energy companies in the training.

KPLUS
Kompetenzzentrum Holz GmbH, Competence Centre GmbH, is a leading research institute in the area wood and wood-related renewable resources in Europe.
The core competences of KPLUS are materials research and process technology along the entire value chain: from raw material to finished products. The Competence Centre develops methods, as well as basic and applied research within its 4 business units, one of which is the Wood and Cellulose-Chemistry unit, focused on the utilisation of the biomass fractions and biorefineries. The other business units deal with Wood-Polymer-Composites, Surface Technology and Logistics, and Wood Materials Technologies, respectively.

RIC – BRP Powertrain
RIC – BRP Powertrain is a leader in the development and production of innovative and high performance Rotax engines for BRP products, as well as for motorcycles, karts, ultra-light and light aircraft. In the past 50 years, the company has developed more than 350 engine models for recreational products and has produced more than 7 million engines.
The BRP Powertrain operations are centred on innovation for sustainable mobility and its Regional Innovation Centre focuses on the development of more efficient drive technologies and eco-performing technology for BRP products. The BRP Training Institute (BRPTI) offers one of the largest apprenticeship programmes in the Austrian region with access to state-of-the-art technological equipment within a 400m² facilities.
