BioEnergyTrain brings together fifteen partners from six EU countries to create new post-graduate level curricula in key bioenergy disciplines, and a network of tertiary education institutions, research centres, professional associations, and industry stakeholders encompassing the whole value chain of bioenergy from field/forest to integration into the sustainable energy systems of buildings, settlements and regions.
The BioEnergyTrain consortium links research, education and business partners along the whole value chain of bioresource utilisation in order to establish the necessary basis for a highly qualified and skilled workforce in the field of bioenergy according to the recommendations of the SET-Plan. To be effective, the project requires active and committed members with complementary skills and an experienced management team that are experts in cooperation and communication.
